Ingredients:
- Mutton (Lamb or Goat)1 1/2 lbs
- Onions (thinly sliced) 3 medium
- Almonds (Badam)1 oz
- Garlic (Lasan) 4 cloves
- Coriander Seeds (Dhania) 1 oz
- Red Chilli Powder (Pisi Lal Mirch) 1 tsp(or of your taste)
- Garam Masala (whole mixture) 1/2 tsp
- Salt (of your taste)
- Saffron (Zafran) 1 pinch
- Plain Yogurt 3/4 cups
- Cream 3/4 cup
- Cooking Oil 1/2 cup
Method:
Wash the mutton first and make it dry and set a side for use.
Use a blender to blend the coriander seeds, 1 onion, almonds and garlic together. Marinade the mutton in this mixture for about 02 hours. After doing all this heat the oil and fry the remaining onions and set a side. After that add the mutton in the oil and fry it until the liquid dries up, it won’t take much time.
Now add ¾ cups of hot water into it and simmer until the meat is almost done. Note don’t cook the meat completely it should be simmer for ¾ % of the total. Or it can be easily done with 15 psi pressure cook which will take approximately 20 minutes. Now reduce the pressure of the heat and add salt and pepper and uncover and dry the liquid.
After this hard work beat the yogurt and fry it until the oil separates from it. Also add fried grounded onions. Beat the cream for 5minutes or beat it until it will become a thick consistency. After that add the soaked or ground saffron and mix it with the cooked mutton. After that add the garam masala and bake it at 250 degrees F for approximately ½ hours. Serve it and enjoy.
