This is apparently how they do hot dogs in Venezuela. As this was new to me, many of you are probably unfamiliar with Venezuelan style hot dogs so let me introduce them to you. These hot dogs include condiments such as mustard, ketchup and maybe. As well as cabbage, onion and crushed potato chips. I found that the potato chips give the hot dog a nice crunch. The recipe calls for the hot dog buns to be steamed but I did not do that personally, I will leave it up to you. This is a very quick and easy recipe that just also happens to be perfect for game day. Enjoy.

Chili cheese dogs are one of the best quick and easy meals you can make. They are perfect for parties or just for a simple dinner. This recipe includes a delicious chili sauce that goes great on these hot dogs. It will also go perfect on Chili Cheese Fries. You can make the sauce ahead of time because it freezes well and can be used at any time. What really makes the sauce stand out is the cinnamon. Cinnamon really adds a great flavor to this chili sauce. Forget using canned chili for your chili cheese dogs when you have this recipe. Enjoy.

BBQ Hot Dogs

It should come as no surprise that hot dogs and BBQ sauce would be a great combination. During the summer hot dogs are an excellent choice for the grill. These hot dogs are brushed with BBQ sauce while grilling and then topped with homemade coleslaw and a dill pickle spear. I recommend using the all beef hot dogs as they definitely have better flavor. They are a little more expensive but well worth it. For the BBQ sauce you can either use store bought or you can make your own. These are perfect for summer cookouts. Enjoy.

Nacho Dogs

Anyone that enjoys different types of hot dogs must give these nacho dogs a try. This is another great recipe for game day. These hot dogs are topped with nacho cheese, guacamole, salsa, chopped onions, and pickled jalapenos. The guacamole is made from scratch but you could also buy it in the store if you want to save some time. For the hot dogs, I would recommend getting all beef hot dogs. These can be grilled or boiled, your choice. Enjoy.

Beer Brats

Beers brats are perfect for cook outs and mainly, tailgating. These brats are first simmered in beer and butter and then grilled to perfection. Try to find some good fresh ground bratwurst if you can. These will be a lot fresher and have better flavor overall. This recipe is fairly easy, you will want to pierce the bratwurst to keep them from exploding while they simmer. This is another great recipe for football season. Enjoy.
Baked Hot Dogs

Yes, you can bake hot dogs in the oven. This is not some type of hot dog casserole but rather hot dogs with buns that are actually baked in the oven. These baked hot dogs are topped with chili, onions and cheese. The condiments include mayonnaise, mustard and relish. These three ingredients are spread onto the hot dogs buns before they are baked. I admit I was a little skeptical of this recipe when I first saw it. I had no idea how it would turn out. In the end, it turned out to be very good. The hot dogs buns were hot too soggy or crunchy but had just the right texture. This is a super easy recipe that takes very little time to prepare. Enjoy. This recipe was adapted from In The Wabe.
Philly Cheese Steak Hot Dogs

If you love Philly Cheese steak sandwiches, you are sure to enjoy these Philly Cheese Steak dogs. These hot dogs combine all of your favorite ingredients from the classic Philly Cheese Steak onto hot dogs. This means that these hot dogs are topped with cheese sauce, steak, green pepper and onion. I grilled the hot dogs but you could boil them as well. Of course, I have to recommend going with the all beef hot dogs. For the steak, I seasoned it well with garlic powder, salt and pepper and then sautéed it in the pan. This is another perfect recipe for game day. Enjoy.
Taco Dogs

I find it interesting to pile all kinds of different ingredients onto hot dogs. Once again, I highly recommend using all beef hot dogs because I feel they have better flavor. These hot dogs are topped with taco meat, cheese, salsa, lettuce, and tomato. You can add additional ingredients as well such a guacamole and sour cream. You can cook the hot dogs however you prefer; grilling, boiling, steaming, ect. I cooked them using an indoor grill pan. Enjoy.
