Ingredients:
1. Softened butter ½ cup (110g)
2. Sugar 1+¼ cup (275 g)
3. 2 eggs
4. All-purpose flour 1+¼ cup (140 g)
5. Unsweetened natural cocoa powder ½ cup (50 g)
6. Baking powder ½ teaspoon
7. Baking Soda 1 teaspoon
8. Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
9. Buttermilk ¾ cup (1.8 dl)
Method:
Firstly pre heat oven to 350F and then line a 9 inch round about 23 cm cake pan grease proof or with any other non-stick paper. After that with an electric mixer grand or beat the softened butter with sugar until it becomes white and fluffy. At the same time add an egg in it and mix well with mixture between each egg. While mixing also add sifted flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, vanilla extract and butter milk. After putting all these ingredients mix it well until butter is smooth. Put this mixture in a cake pan and bake at 350 degrees temperature for approximately 50 to 60 minutes. When a wooden pick which was inserted in centre will come out then stop backing.
