Chicken Marsala

Chicken Marsala can be found at almost any restaurant in the United States. If you are not familiar with this dish – chicken marsala is an Italian dish that consists of lightly floured chicken with a delicious wine sauce and sliced mushrooms. The key ingredient to this recipe is Marsala wine; it has a very delicious flavor and should not be substituted. Marsala wine shouldn’t be hard to find and typically isn’t very expensive. The sauce needs to be reduced until it becomes some what thick, if you have a problem thickening the sauce you could stir in a little flour until you have achieved the desired thickness. This recipe is very easy and you will be eating it within an hour or less. Serve with linguini or your favorite type of pasta. Enjoy.

Hot and Sour Soup

If you eat at Chinese restaurants or buffets, chances are you have probably tried hot and sour soup. The ‘hot’ comes from chili and garlic paste and pepper. The ‘sour’ comes from vinegar. Many hot and sour soup recipes call for ingredients such as wood ear fungus and lily buds… these ingredients can be hard or nearly impossible to find in many areas. This recipe calls for neither. Even if you cannot find some of the ingredients on the list, they can easily be replaced with something else. If you do not eat meat, the pork can easily be omitted. If you are using the tofu, I would suggest letting the soup marinate for at least a day to allow the flavors to develop before serving.  Don’t let the slightly lengthy list of ingredients turn you away, this recipe is very easy! Enjoy.

Chocolate Bundt Cake

Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate Bundt cake… Yes, that is indeed a lot of chocolate. This is the perfect cake for chocolate lovers; it’s nearly an overdose of it. This recipe uses 3 different ingredients to incorporate chocolate into this cake – chocolate cake mix, chocolate pudding mix, and chocolate chips. This cake is very rich, recommend to taking small slices or you might not be able to finish it. If you are looking for a quick and easy Bundt cake recipe, give this a try. Enjoy.

French Toast

Here is a recipe for the well known breakfast item – French toast. French toast is very popular all across the United States and Europe. It is also known as ‘Eggy Bread’ in parts of the United Kingdom. The process to making French toast is very simple; slices of bread are dipped in an egg mixture and then fried on a griddle or in a pan. Most of the flavor comes from ingredients such as cinnamon and vanilla extract. This recipe calls for Texas toast, which is a thicker type of sliced white bread. If you can’t find it any type of white bread will work as well. Serve with butter, syrup and/or fruit. Enjoy.

Quiche Lorraine

The basic ingredients of this recipe include eggs, bacon and cheddar cheese. There are a lot of ways you can change this recipe to your taste. You could use ham in place of bacon and Swiss in place of cheddar. You could also add a vegetable such as broccoli if you choose. This is an absolutely delicious breakfast dish that is very easy to make. To save time you can buy a pre-pared pie crust from the store and just pour the filling into it and bake. Enjoy.

Vegetable Lo Mein

If you are not familiar with Lo Mein, Lo Mein is a Chinese noodle dish. The noodles are first cooked and then mixed with a brown sauce and an assortment of vegetables. If you would prefer to add a little meat putting in some cooked chicken, pork, or shrimp would be great as well. Vegetable Lo Mein could be a main course or even go great as a side dish with your favorite Chinese chicken recipe. Enjoy.

Chicken Nuggets

Chicken nuggets make a great snack or even a great addition to a dinner or lunch. This recipe is very kid friendly… your kids are sure to be pleased with these chicken nuggets. The chicken is first rolled in flour, dipped in egg and then rolled in a bread crumb mixture. For the seasonings, you can tweak it to your taste. If you want a little heat, add some cayenne pepper or chili seasoning into the flour mixture. Enjoy.

Crab Puffs

Crab puffs are placed high on my list of appetizers. Crab puffs are a perfect snack for any party or get together. Over-all there is a little work involved with this recipe but nothing major. The crab mixture is delicious enough to eat by itself. Everyone around my house just devoured these; they were gone in no time. The recipe calls for canned crab but imitation crab will work as well. If you are in need of an amazing appetizer, give this recipe for crab puffs a try! Enjoy.

Buffalo Chicken Pizza

This pizza will make an amazing treat to make for a party and everyone is sure to love you! The process is very simple, coat the chicken bits with hot sauce and butter. Instead of the traditional pizza sauce, blue cheese dressing goes on this pizza. If you are not a fan of blue cheese, no problem, you can easily use ranch dressing instead. For the crust you can either use a store bought crust or even better, make your own. If you choose you can add other ingredients for toppings such as black olives or red onions. Enjoy.

Chinese Chicken Wings

Looking for that amazing snack for your Super bowl party? Well, look no further. Chinese chicken wings are the ultimate party snack. The amazing flavor of these wings lies within the marinade. The longer you marinate the wings for, the more flavor they will have. The marinade also makes a great dipping sauce for the wings or even goes great on top of rice.  There is nothing complicated about this recipe as the marinade only takes a few minutes to mix together. The hardest part is if you want to cut the chicken wings but you can buy them pre-cut in the store. Enjoy.
