Pakistani Kadhi with Pakoras



Delicious Kari With Pakoras


Ingredients:
For curry
Take 3 table spoon gram flour (besan)
½ table spoon mustard seeds (Raee)
½ table spoon cumin seeds (zeera)
1 ½ cups of yogurt and 1 table spoon of garlic paste (lehsun)
1 large onion and 2 green chillies
¼ table spoon red chilli powder and ¼ table spoon turmeric powder(haldi)
3 nos curry leaves, small bench of chopped green coriander (hara dhaniya)
3 cups water and 2 table spoon oil and salt of your taste.
For Pakoras:
1 cup gram flour or besan
½ table spoon cumin seeds
1 medium onion and potato
1 table spoon whole Coriander
Salt and red chillies of your taste.      
A pinch of baking soda and oil for deep drying
Method for Pakoras:-
First make Pakoras, so for that reason take a bowl and mix the gram flour with a little water and make a medium thick paste. After that add baking soda, salt, chillies, zeera, whole coriander, chopped onion and finely chopped potato in it. Mix all these ingredients with a spoon, mix it until you are sure that all the spices are distributed properly.

After that add chopped fresh coriander to this paste and let it stand for 10 minutes. Now drop ping pong mixture in a deep frying pan with the help of a spoon. Mix it to ensure even cooking and take out when got medium brown. Don’t cook more because Pakoras will become hard. After all this process set Pakoras a side.

Method for Kadhi:-
Start by heating the oil in a deep Karahi, after that add the mustard seeds and cumin seeds in it. When they start crackle add the onion and fry till the onion is golden brown. After that whisk the yogurt with garlic paste, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, gram flour, and salt. Add water and stir it until mixed properly.
Now take a Karahi and bring to boil and mix all this mixture in it. The flame should be medium and stir constantly. After about 30 minutes you will see that Karachi has thickened mixture and is ready.  Now add Curry leaves and Pakoras in it and again simmer it for 10 minutes more. Also add garnish with green coriander and sprinkle some garam masala, after that serve it and enjoy the taste.
