Moo Goo Gai Pan

Moo Goo Gai Pan or chicken and sliced mushrooms is an Americanized version of a Chinese dish. What’s great about this recipe is it requires no deep frying or breading of the chicken. Everything is done in your wok or frying pan. Moo Goo Gai Pan uses a delicious and light sauce made out of basically just thickened chicken broth. The recipe uses a wide assortment of vegetables such as mushrooms, water chest nuts, pea pods, carrots, green onions and a few more. To save time you can just buy a frozen vegetable stir fry mix from the store. You should be able to find one that consists of most (if not all) of the vegetables required for this recipe. This recipe is pretty simple, takes little time and is only 3 steps. Serve with white rice.

Pumpkin Cookies

Thanksgiving may be over but it’s never too late to make pumpkin cookies. This recipe for pumpkin cookies makes a great treat for any holiday or special occasion. These cookies are light and extremely moist. They remind me a lot of pumpkin bread only with glaze. The glaze is very delicious and really is a great addition to the cookie. If you’re not a fan of icing, not to worry, they will still be great without it. The cookies get most of their flavor from spices such as cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg. The cookies should be baked for 15-20 minutes depending on how moist you want them. These are very easy to make and you will be eating them in no time at all. Pumpkin cookies are great for the holidays. Enjoy.

Sweet and Sour Fish

Sweet and sour fish is breaded fish in a delicious sweet and sour sauce with an assortment of fruits and vegetables. You can basically use any kind of white fish for this recipe such as tilapia, halibut, bass, cod, ect. It is always good to try and find nice meaty fillets if possible. The fruits and vegetables going into this dish include pineapple, tomatoes, green peppers and onions. If you are in a rush and would prefer to use store bought sweet and sour sauce that would work as well. Serve on top of white rice. Enjoy.

Chocolate Chip Pancakes

Chocolate chip pancakes are the perfect treat for that special breakfast. There are many ways to make pancakes but this has to be one of the best. For this recipe you can use regular chocolate chips  Making pancakes is fairly easy; it’s always a good idea to keep the heat well under control so they don’t burn on one side. After all, nobody likes a burnt pancake. Make sure to check the bottom of the pan cake frequently to make sure it doesn’t become to dark. What’s great about this recipe is cinnamon goes into the batter and adds great flavor to the pancakes. Making chocolate chip pancakes should take very little time and be prepared to impress chocolate lovers with this delicious morning treat. This recipe makes about 6 medium pancakes. Enjoy.

Cheesecake Brownies

Cheesecake Brownies are the ultimate combination of cheesecake and delicious chocolate brownies. These are very easy to make a take very little time.if you are feeling lazy and want to use  a chocolate brownie box mix that will work as well. Just pour the prepared box mix into the baking dish and top with the cheesecake mixture. The cheesecake topping is the high light of this recipe. A touch of vanilla extract gives it that amazing flavor. Enjoy.

Cranberry Bread

This bread is sure to please anyone that enjoys the taste of cranberries. The bread gets most of its flavor from lemon zest and vanilla extract. If you choose, you can also replace the lemon zest with orange zest for a different flavor. If you ask me fresh cranberries are the way to go for this recipe but you can also use frozen ones.  Like most other breads this is very easy to make… the hardest part about it, at least was chopping the cranberries because after that the only work that’s involved is mixing the ingredients. Enjoy.

General Tso’s Chicken

At nearly any buffet or take-out place you can find General Tso’s Chicken. General Tso’s Chicken is a perfect combination of sweet and spicy flavors. It is a very popular dish throughout the United States and Canada. This is probably one of the best and easiest recipes around, you will be surprised at how little time it takes to prepare. The sauce keeps it nice and simple with only a few necessary ingredients to create the perfect generals sauce. For the frying – it’s your choice if you want to use a deep fryer or wok.  If you are looking for an amazing recipe for General Tso’s chicken give this one a try. Serve on top of white rice. Enjoy.

Blueberry Cheesecake

The highlight of this cheesecake is the crust. The crust is a combination of vanilla wafers and 3 different types of nuts – almonds, walnuts and pecans. A great way to make the crush is to crush all of the ingredients with a rolling pin.the addition of lemon juice in the filling makes a huge difference in the overall flavor, and a little vanilla doesn’t hurt either. If you are looking for a delicious cheesecake recipe give this one a try. You don’t be disappointed. Enjoy.

Chicken Caesar Salad

Chicken Caesar Salad

chicken Caesar salad is amazing. If you are looking for a nice and light meal this recipe is for you. Chicken Caesar salad is very popular in many countries and can be ordered at almost any restaurant. If you want to save time and just buy some from the story that will work as well but these are better! For the dressing I used mayo instead of the traditional raw egg.
Enjoy.
