Gajar ka Halwa

Ingredients:

  • 1 kilo carrots grated
  • 1 cup sugar
  • Seeds of 4-5 small illaichi
  • 1 tbs oil
  • Khoya (Riccota cheese)
  • 1 tbs khevera essence
  • Dry fruits (pistachio,almond,raisins)
  • 4-5 tbs powder milk


    Instructions:

    1. Grate the carrots and put them in a pot on low heat along with the illaichi seeds.
    2. When they become soft and water dries add sugar and again leave for the water to dry.
    3. Then add oil,khoya,dryfruit and milk and drythe water on high heat.
    4. When done add khevera just before removing from heat.
    5. Can be served hot or cold.
